The Amace Basket is . . and her cooperative, Igisubizo (“solutions” in Kinyarwanda), Amace means “Mother’s Part”—a tribute to the strength and love of mothers in their community.

Woven from hand-dyed sisal wrapped around bunches of sweetgrass, this colorful, symbolic piece blends tradition with personal expression. Use it as a fruit bowl, wall art, or a meaningful accent in your home. Each basket in the HOPE Collection is a labor of love and a symbol of resilience.
